Tony Khan and AEW got some publicity out of the recent attack angle.
Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite closed in a newsworthy way as The Young Bucks, Jack Perry, and Kazuchika Okada laid out the AEW President. The show’s last segment saw Perry and Khan seemingly put their differences aside as Perry said that all he wanted to do was wrestle in AEW and make it better.
Perry wanted to be reinstated. Khan agreed before Perry punched him in the gut. The Young Bucks laid out their boss with their finisher to close the show. It’s the first time that Khan has gotten physical in his promotion.
Khan was sporting a neck brace coming out of the angle, keeping kayfabe alive even during the NFL Draft when he was part of the team drafting LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. in the first round on Thursday night.
