JBL no longer booked for WWE shows going forward

John Bradshaw Layfield’s current run has ended.

PWInsider reported today that JBL is not scheduled to appear on WWE programming going forward. This past Monday on Raw, Baron Corbin lost another match and it was made clear that JBL was not happy about it.

After the show, they posted a video of JBL saying that he did not want to be associated with Corbin any longer because he was making him look bad by losing so many matches. Corbin has been on a losing streak on TV and at the house shows.

The belief was that giving Corbin a manager would give him a boost but this latest run hasn’t worked out. The future for Corbin on the Raw brand is anyone’s guess at this point.

Corbin was one of the people that Vince McMahon always had time for. It will be interesting to see if Paul “Triple H” Levesque feels the same way if/when they decide to repackage him again.
