Jeff Hardy had a scary situation on Wednesday night when AEW taped this Friday’s Rampage episode that will air on TNT after the Dynamite event.
The opening match from the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, TX, saw the former WWE Champion battle Sammy Guevara in a No DQ Match, which opened the show.
Hardy appeared to be injured during the bout when taking a knee to the head on a shooting star press. Unfortunately, that is the case.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that they were told the fear initially was a broken nose, and they’d be doing concussion tests. We wish Hardy a speedy recovery.
Since returning from suspension streaming from his DUI case, Jeff, alongside his brother Matt, has mostly been featured on Rampage while working tag team matches. As of late, Jeff has been working more singles matches on the program.
