John Cena is slated to team up with Jason Momoa in the new action comedy “Killer Vacation.”
The two are stars of the DC Films universe, as Cena is known for his role as Peacemaker, and Momoa is known for playing Aquaman. Variety first reported the news.
There is no set release date for “Killer Vacation.” Mark and Brian Gunn wrote the script. Those familiar with the movie compare it to “True Lies.” John Rickard and Peter Safran will produce it.
Per the report, Cena met Momoa on the Fast and the Furious franchise set, and they wanted to take their natural chemistry to another film. Momoa previously worked with former WWE Champion Dave Bautista in the Apple TV series “See.”
Cena will be returning to his WWE roots on Friday, December 30. As previously reported, the future WWE Hall Of Famer is expected to wrestle at WrestleMania 39.
