John Cena Hints at Extending His Current WWE Run

John Cena may be sticking around WWE for longer than he originally expected.

Cena returned on the September 1st episode of SmackDown, where he did a segment with Jimmy Uso, which kicked off this WWE run for him as he has worked every SmackDown show since then.

He’s scheduled for shows through Crown Jewel on November 4, where, based on television, he is likely to face Solo Sikoa as he laid out the young prospect on Friday’s SmackDown.

Cena and LA Knight beat Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso took place at the WWE Fastlane 2023 premium live event earlier this month. At the post-event press conference, he said he would wrap up his WWE run early if the writers and actors strike in Hollywood ended.

He could only come back for a lengthy run due to the strikes in the first place. The strike for the actors is still ongoing, leading to speculation that Cena may stick around longer than he planned.

Cena posted this photo on Instagram from a scene in “Wolf of Wall Street” where Jordan Belfort announced to his firm that he wasn’t leaving the company, sparking speculation that Cena will be working more WWE dates.
