Kenny Omega: ‘Someday People Will Know The Truth’ About Rossy Ogawa

All Elite Wrestling star Kenny Omega said some pretty damning things about Stardom founder Rossy Ogawa during a Twitch stream on Friday night. Ogawa recently announced the launch of the Marigold promotion.

Omega cautioned people who praise Ogawa because of what people in Japan already know about him. Omega went on to say “Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but someday people will know the truth. What they do with that truth, I don’t know. Will they share it? Maybe.” Omega went on to say that higher-ups in Japan know what “business he’s up to and what he’s been up to for decades.”

In regards to Marigold’s partnership with WWE, Omega said he didn’t care about that and what is known about Ogawa is “not even the tip of the iceberg” and a lot of people have refused to work with Ogawa. Omega continued, “If you want to know along what lines they tread amongst, the dude just flat out said, ‘Hey, we’re looking for girls ages 13-to-21 that don’t have a boyfriend and aren’t married.’ We already know he puts underage girls in very revealing swimsuit calendars and books. I wish that’s all he did. Let’s put it that way.”

Omega said that he is not going on record with anything he said on his stream because he doesn’t want lawyers at his door. He also said that he doesn’t have video evidence of what Ogawa has allegedly done but he has the “good word” of people that are very close. Omega also wished good luck to the promotion but said that people should be “very hesitant” and then he again questioned the decision to have girls as young as 13 training/wrestling there.

Asuka has previously said that Stardom was created to destroy her. During the Twitch stream, Omega said that he supports Asuka and “She’s got her reasons. Probably the same one as mine.”

Ogawa has not commented publicly on what Omega said on his stream. It’s unclear yet if WWE will react to what was said. Click below to hear what Omega said.
