Kevin Nash Says Sting Invited Him To Be At His Final Match, WWE Wouldn’t Allow It

On the latest “Kliq This” podcast, Kevin Nash and Sean Oliver discussed Sting’s final match coming up at AEW Revolution.

Nash said about his friendship with Sting, “I consider him a very close friend to be in the business. And to have not spent the time that I did with the Kliq.”

Nash talked about the end of WCW and Sting seeing what WWE could do to the WCW guys. “Everybody that left WCW as a top guy that went to WWE got f**ked. Everybody from Goldberg getting beat by Christian with a f**king chair to I mean, we all got f**king beat. Nobody got a run.”

On being invited to be at his final match, Nash said, “He asked me to be a part of it. And I just said that, you know, because of my positioning with the company with WWE, I couldn’t. I mean, I couldn’t even be there in the crowd. If I went in the crowd, it would be, you know?”

Nash said that he did ask WWE. “I asked,” he said. “You know when you ask, and there’s that three, four second pause. It’s like f**king when you’d be on the rug. Like, Hey, babe. We’re in Fort Wayne. I’m gonna go to Stewie’s strip joint. You got a problem with that? Nothing.”

At Revolution, Sting and Darby Allin will defend the AEW World Tag Team Titles against The Young Bucks. The pay-per-view will air live on Sunday, March 3rd on Bleacher Report.
