Kurt Angle on Grayson Waller: I think the kid’s talented and has it

Kurt Angle gave his thoughts on various topics on the latest episode of his Kurt Angle Show.

His journey

During it, the WWE Hall of Famer talked about Grayson Waller, who first broke into the wrestling business in 2017 before being signed by WWE in 2021, where he went to work in NXT after training at the Performance Center. He made his debut on a June episode of 205 Live, where he beat Gunil Singh that same year.

He later made his NXT debut in September as part of the NXT 2.0 rebrand, where he was featured as a star on the developmental show. Waller was called up to the main roster earlier this year as part of the Draft.

In recent months, Waller has been paired with Austin Theory, with their most recent bout happening on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, where they worked a tag team match against Kevin Owens and LA Knight.

Praise

“He’s the Australian kid,” Angle stated when asked about his thoughts on the young WWE star. “Yeah, I did see his match with Edge at Madison Square Garden, and it was a pretty damn good match. I think the kid’s talented. I think he has it. He’s pretty good on the mic, too.”
