LA Knight got his receipt on Kevin Nash during a promo on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown while furthering his program with The Miz.
Nash previously got heat from many fans when he recently went after Knight by calling him a ripoff of The Rock, and he doesn’t see anything original from Knight. Nash also said that Knight never got over anywhere else with any other gimmick. The WWE Hall of Famer did issue an apology and admitted that he didn’t know who Knight was before seeing him on WWE TV.
During the promo, Knight did a call back to Nash’s line in a promo on WCW Monday Night Nitro, where at the time, the company’s motto was “where the big boys play.” Nash said, “Let’s look at the adjective” while referring to the word ‘play.’
Knight said, “Now, let’s go ahead and dissect that for a second. How does that song of his go? I came to play, right? If a complete moron, I’d say let’s look at that adjective, but I’m not a moron, so I’m gonna say let’s look at that verb, play.”
