Ahead of tomorrow night’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Liv Morgan spoke with Denise Salcedo about the PLE and her WWE career.
Liv talked about overcoming obstacles during her WWE career:
“I feel like all the obstacles just made the end goal and the end results so much sweeter. I feel like there were so many times in my career where I felt like I’d never be champion, I wasn’t good enough to be champion. Other people thought I wasn’t good enough to be champion, and not for one second did I stop believing in myself and having faith in myself that at the end of the day, I will be champion. That’s exactly what I did this year. I’ve had an incredible, amazing, blessed year, and I couldn’t be happier.”
On what it means for her to win The Royal Rumble:
“I am hoping and I have been pitching myself to come out first. I want to come out first and make a statement to not only endure all the pain and physicality that it will take to get to me to be the last woman standing, but just to leave a message that, you know, bring all 29 women. At the end of the day, I’m still going to be the last one standing in that ring, and who knows what title I’d want to wrestle for.”
