Longtime WWE Star’s Contract Is Set To Expire In A Few Weeks

Triple H has a lot of things on his plate these days as WWE’s business continues to be on fire with sell-out shows worldwide, and he is trying to maintain that momentum coming out of WrestleMania XL.

WWE will also move its television shows to new networks, with SmackDown leaving FOX for USA Network, NXT going to The CW, and Raw moving to Netflix. The company has locked down several stars, including Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, and Sami Zayn.

However, they still need to re-sign Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch. Another name also needs to be signed to a new deal. That star is Natalya, who has been with WWE since 2007.

She has been a two-time Women’s Champion (including a Divas Championship reign) and a one-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. Her husband, TJ Wilson, has transitioned from being in the ring to a highly praised WWE producer.

Sean Ross Sapp noted on Fightful’s The Hump that Natalya is slated to be a free agent in a couple of weeks. She has yet to comment on her contract status.

If she were to leave WWE, it could lead to her husband also leaving, where they would have plenty of interest from other promotions and be terrific hires.
