Mandy Rose comments on her WWE departure

Mandy Rose has given her first statement regarding the surprising news that WWE had released her from her contract one day after dropping the WWE NXT Women’s Title.

Rose lost the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez on Tuesday’s NXT episode after it was originally planned to take place on January 10. As previously reported, Shawn Michaels had to make changes to the show after being informed by Matt Bloom, the Performance Center head coach, about Rose’s subscription website.

WWE reportedly felt like they were put in a tough position based on the adult content she was posting, and it was outside of the parameters of her deal with the company.

The decision caught Rose off guard. However, in her statement that she posted on her subscription site, Rose noted that the page is going to stay up:

“Hey guys, thank you for all the messages. I am overwhelmed with all the love and support from you guys. And don’t worry the page is still up!;).”

Fans have been showing their support on social media with various Mandy Rose hashtags trending.
