At the ROH tapings in Chicago that took place after Dynamite/Rampage, there was a scary spot that led to a match being stopped.
Cole Karter and Griff Garrison wrestled against Matt Sydal and Chris Daniels but the referee stopped the match after Karter landed on his head while taking a twisting splash move from Sydal. The belief was that Karter suffered a concussion.
To his credit, referee Paul Turner made the call to end the match after he and Daniels realized that something was wrong. Doctor Sampson was there to check on Kole and thankfully Kole was able to walk out under his own power. No further word on his status right now but it was said to be a very scary scene for a few moments.
