AEW presents its Dynamite: Big Business episode tonight from Boston with the expected AEW debut of Mercedes Mone.
The show
WWE knew around December 29th that they were not going to sign Mone after talks broke down as they were far apart on money. The impression in January was that Mone had been signed by AEW for weeks.
The waiting game of her recovery from ankle surgery and the right time to have her debut was the hold-up on her All Elite Wrestling debut.

As seen below, Mone noted on her Instagram Story that she is in Boston as she shared a photo of downtown and spelled “Boston” as “Bosston,” not only the same way that AEW President Tony Khan did on Tuesday while hyping the show, but it’s also the former nickname of Mone while in WWE.
