The rumors are true. Mercedes Varnado, former WWE star Sasha Banks, appeared at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 in the Tokyo Dome. Her appearance Happened after Kairi successfully defended her IWGP Women’s Championship against Tam Nakano. Kairi won the match after hitting the insane elbow off the top rope.
Mone walked out to the ring and then acted as if she was going to shake Kairi’s hand but she laid her out. Mercedes grabbed the mic and said that she knows a thing or two about making history.
Mercedes then officially introduced herself under her new name and she described herself as the “CEO of this women’s division.”
Mercedes said that she will leave Kairi “bankrupt” at Battle in the Valley on February 18 in San Jose.
