Former Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone seems to be making it pretty clear that she’s interested in returning to WWE…at least it comes across that way in some of her recent social media posts.
In a post sent out on December 24, Mone wrote the following:
“Happy
Happy
Holidays
All I want for Christmas is Moné”
Fans read into that as her spelling out HHH and as another sign that she wants WWE to sign her to a new deal. On December 26th, she posted a photo of herself in front of Boston’s TD Garden on the same day when WWE ran a live event there. The latest post shows her in front of a Triple H poster.
Mone reportedly is asking for more than what Charlotte Flair is making on her new contract. Obviously, WWE can pay her what she’s asking for but the question is if they would be willing to raise the payscale to get Mone back. With AEW no longer having tentative plans for Mone, one has to think that a return to WWE is the most likely thing to happen. If a deal can be reached in the next few weeks then it opens the door for a potential return at the Royal Rumble just in time for WrestleMania season.
