During her panel at Planet Comicon in Kansas City, former WWE star Mercedes Mone indicated that she is interested in wrestling for more companies this year, including Impact Wrestling and possibly AEW at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
“When is it,” she said when asked about appearing at Forbidden Door. Mone was told that the pay-per-view happens in June. She said, “June so far, I think I could be open, July might be open but I gotta get that phone call. Gotta get that phone call from unc.”
AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door will air live on pay-per-view on Sunday, June 25. It seems as if Mone could be there if a deal can be worked out with NJPW and/or AEW.
Also during the same interview, Mone said again that she would love to wrestle Mickie James and she’s open to tagging with Kazuchika Okada in a mixed tag team match. Click below for the interview.
