Mia Yim took to Twitter today to fire back at fans who criticized her for taking a photo (see below for the photo) with WWE United States Champion Austin Theory.
Yim and Theory are friends but apparently, some fans were offended because she took a photo with a fellow co-worker. Yim is married to current AEW star Keith Lee.
Yim tweeted, “Ok, block button ready to go. Apparently I can’t take pics or get excited about seeing people I haven’t seen in a while,” Yim wrote. “I love my husband and only have eyes for him. Apologies for any disrespect. Men and women can be friends without it being sexual.”
Shortly thereafter, Yim deactivated her Twitter account. Hopefully, Yim ignores the trolls and returns to social media in the near future.
