Minneapolis is looking to host next year’s WWE WrestleMania 41.
Interest
Minneapolis, Minnesota, has been rumored to host the event dating back to 2015, including WrestleMania 33 in 2017, but Orlando, Florida, got the honor.
It’s been believed that should WWE go to the city, they would host it from the U.S. Bank Stadium, which is where the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings play, as it’s an indoor stadium and has a capacity of up to 73,000 seats for events.
Bid
The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported on Wednesday that Minnesota Sports and Events has submitted its pitch to hold the event at the venue MNSE’s president and chief executive officer Wendy Blackshaw told the outlet that the process was “very competitive”.
WWE holds the WrestleMania 40 on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, 2024, from the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which will air on Peacock. The Rock & Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins will headline night 1, while Reigns vs. Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title will headline the second night.
