AEW has so much talent under contract that it can be hard to figure out why certain wrestlers are not used on television as it could be due to personal issues, injury, or lack of creative.
AEW run
Fans have been frustrated with the way All Elite Wrestling uses Miro for a while now after joining the promotion in 2021 following a successful WWE run.
Miro only had four matches in 2022 and hadn’t been seen on television for months before being brought back for a return in June 2023. AEW has been criticized for doing start-and-stop pushes with Miro. He worked just seven matches in 2023, with his last match happening when he went over Andrade in their match to blow off the feud at Worlds End in December.
Absence
As previously reported, Miro hasn’t been backstage at recent AEW events, and it’s been unclear when he will be used again.
Miro took to Twitter to note that he’s been injured since September and got medical attention in January. Miro and Keith Lee were supposed to be part of the Meat Madness Match at Revolution, but it got scrapped.
I’ve been injured since September and i got medical attention in January. Sorry he wasn’t aware of it https://t.co/xNxFjzu5iS
