Miro Has Been Injured Since September, Says Tony Khan ‘Wasn’t Aware Of It’

AEW star Miro has been dealing with an injury since September but it was not made public until today in a post on social media.

During the AEW Revolution media call (see below), Tony Khan said that the Meat Madness match that was scheduled for the pay-per-view was postponed because of injuries. Khan named Miro and Keith Lee as two of the names who are not cleared to wrestle.

Miro stated on X that he’s been injured since September and got medical attention for it in January. He posted, “I’ve been injured since September and i got medical attention in January. Sorry he wasn’t aware of it.”

Miro did not state the nature or severity of the injury. Since September, he’s wrestled twice on Collision against Action Andretti and Daniel Garcia. The last time he wrestled was at Worlds End, where he defeated Andrade El Idolo.

The names that were announced for Meat Madness (Powerhouse Hobbs, Lance Archer and Wardlow) are now booked for the All-Star Scramble match at Revolution.
