More trouble brewing within a top WWE faction

WWE Raw started off with some star power and another big tease of trouble within the top faction on the brand.

Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, and Jey Uso kicked off the show to hype up the upcoming WarGames match at Survivor Series. They will be facing The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor and JD McDonaugh at the PLE and both teams tried to trash talk each other in a way to try to create friction on the opposite side.

Cody’s attempt to create trouble was pointing out that no one in The Judgment Day would claim to be the leader of the group. The group has always maintained that there is no leader but tonight, Damian Priest declared himself as the leader of the group, despite the fact that it has been Rhea Ripley who has been working to keep the group on the same page and she’s been showing leadership qualities.

Ripley was not around when Priest declared himself the leader and Michael Cole pointed out what a big deal it was for Priest to say what he said. This all only furthers the teases of trouble within the group heading into Survivor Series and it seems pretty clear that someone (possibly Priest) will be kicked out soon.

Update: Ripley showed up later and she gave orders to The Judgment Day during their attack on Team Cody/Seth. Click here for complete WWE Monday Night Raw results.
