It looks like some fresh faces could be in line to make their official debut for WWE soon as WWE continues to tweak the vision of NXT.
WWE has gone away from the bright colors of NXT 2.0 and dropped the name as they go towards a new era while bringing back the black and gold colors in addition to a new logo. They also changed up the look of the show slightly, as the LED Displays are different. With NXT UK going on hiatus, more talent from that brand has been used on NXT television.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that several current developmental talents received their ring names, indicating that they might be making their long-awaited TV debut based on what WWE has historically done in the past.
Meltzer wrote, “A number of wrestlers in developmental were given new names this past week so it appears right now the plan is to debut them on television shortly because that’s usually how things are done.”
Former Bellator MMA fighter Valerie Loureda recently announced that she received her name.
