Naomi’s new name may have been revealed in a new trademark filing after telling fan she’s no longer with WWE

Naomi, real name Trinity Fatu, is seemingly preparing for her next move in the wrestling business.

She walked out of WWE alongside Mercedes Mone in May 2022 due to creative differences with Vince McMahon. Since then, her WWE status has been up in the air while Mone is currently in NJPW.

This past January, Bryan Alvarez reported that Naomi is expected to return to WWE, while Dave Meltzer reported that same week she was in talks with WWE, but nothing had been signed.

In late February, Ariane Andrew, the former tag team partner, claimed that Naomi underwent shoulder surgery, and that’s why she hadn’t returned to WWE.

Naomi is slated to appear at WrestleCon during WrestleMania weekend in LA on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2.

On Thursday, Naomi posted an ad for her upcoming WrestleCon appearance and in the comments, a user asked her if she was “still in WWE” and Naomi responded, “no frien.”

On March 20, Naomi filed a trademark through Michael E. Dockins who has helped countless wrestlers to secure their trademarks, for the term “Trinity Starr” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). For now, it’s listed only for merchandise purposes and not for entertainment purposes:

“Mark For: TRINITY STARR™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of hats; Shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.”

This may have revealed the new ring name for her going forward.
