WWE and Randy Orton are gearing up for his return after being sidelined for a lengthy period of time. The former WWE Champion is pushing forward with his wrestling career despite doctors telling him not to do so.
He has been sidelined since last May and underwent fusion back surgery late last year. Orton has resumed lifting but not bumping in the ring. The former WWE Champion was spotted at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL, last month, indicating he was getting closer to returning.
As previously reported, WWE has been planning to have Randy Orton back by Survivor Series on Saturday, November 25, from Chicago, IL, at the United Center.
WrestleVotes reports that WWE has approved new Orton merchandise and branding ahead of his return, which is likely in late November.
“Regarding the Randy Orton return rumors, source states new merchandise & branding has been approved. Also, WWE will present a large social media promotion / digital material for the comeback. It’s indeed happening. Likely Survivor Series or that weekend.”
