AEW is days away from hosting its Full Gear pay-per-view event from Los Angeles, California, at the Kia Forum, and several matches have already been locked in for the show. However, one fan has questioned the build for a certain bout on the lineup.
AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF vs. Jay White, AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida vs. Toni Storm, Christian Cage, Luchasaurus & Nick Wayne vs. Sting, Darby Allin & Adam Copeland, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy vs. Jon Moxley, and ROH Tag Team Champion MJF & a mystery partner vs. The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn).
A fan on Instagram criticized the build for The Young Bucks vs. The Golden Jets (Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega) as Nick & Matt Jackson are upset that Omega has been teaming with Jericho as of late instead of focusing on their trios pairing. This has led to a friendly competition at the upcoming pay-per-view event. The fan doesn’t think this type of storyline makes someone pay to see such a match.
As seen below, Nick fired back at a fan, noting the other option was to not be featured on the card at all. It should be noted that the bout has the stipulation that the winner gets an AEW Tag Team title shot, but Golden Jets will have to disband if they lose
