WWE presented the fallout edition of Monday Night Raw this week that featured the fallout from this past Saturday’s Payback PLE.
WWE continued storylines such as World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura after Rollins was laid out by the challenger following their title match at Payback.
On this same show, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn dropped the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles to Damian Priest and Sami Zayn.
While Zayn was featured on Raw, where he wrestled JD McDonagh, who got involved in the title match at Payback, Owens wasn’t featured on the show.
PWinsider reports original plans called for Owens to appear and wrestle JD in a singles match.
The report noted, “While it was stated Kevin Owens was not at Raw, he was backstage and late in the day, he was slated to wrestle JD McDonagh, so there was obviously a change in plans.”
