WWE continues to expand its international reach by hosting its premium live events in different countries.
Earlier this year, they hosted Backlash in Puerto Rico before taking Money in the Bank to Europe. They’ve already confirmed hosting next year’s Elimination Chamber in February from Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia, and WWE Bash in Berlin on August 31, 2024 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany.
WWE also hosts two PLEs from Saudi Arabia each year, with its next stop being next Saturday for Crown Jewel.
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre, and WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio vs. Logan Paul are the top matches for that show.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that fans shouldn’t expect WWE to slow down on holding shows overseas as “some internal schedules in the company also have WWE Backlash listed for Paris, France in Spring of 2024.”
That has yet to be finalized, but the talks of it happening have been heavily discussed.
