Andrade El Idolo was sent home by AEW in early October after he was involved in a backstage fight with Sammy Guevara. This was after they exchanged words on Twitter, including when Guevara accused El Idolo of wanting to return to WWE.
El Idolo hasn’t been seen on AEW TV since then, but he recently appeared alongside his father-in-law Ric Flair at “The Big Event” convention. The WWE Hall Of Famer shared a photo from their appearance, where he and Andrade met with their fans.

Andrade had stated on Twitter during the exchange with Guevara that he wasn’t scared to get fired. Although there was a belief that Andrade was trying to get out of his AEW deal to return to WWE by being involved in this fight, Andrade has denied those rumors.
On social media, Andrade has expressed his displeasure with AEW and teased quitting the promotion. It’s still unclear whether Andrade will be brought back by AEW or let go.
