After his near-death incident in late 2021 while he was on tour in the UK with his band, Fozzy, Jericho had a noticeable physical transformation. The AEW star was diagnosed with having a pulmonary embolism, a disorder brought on by blood clots in the lungs, after experiencing breathing difficulties on stage.
Jericho was told he needed to lose weight and did just that as he lost up to 31 pounds in eight weeks.
At the Full Gear pay-per-view on November 19, Jericho will defend his ROH World Title in a Four-Way Match against Sammy Guevera, Bryan Danielson, and Claudio Castagnoli. Jericho won’t be on tonight’s Dynamite as he is touring in the UK with Fozzy.
