Pat McAfee and his wife are the proud parents of a new baby girl.
McAfee’s WWE future has been up in the air after Wade Barrett stated his role as the SmackDown color commentator, a previous role that McAfee had, was as permanent as one can be in WWE. The issue of McAfee calling the WWE action comes down to time as he is now a father, continues to host his daily radio show, and works on ESPN’s College Gameday program.
Last year, Barrett started to fill in for McAfee when the former NFL punter College Gameday. The idea was that he would return after the football season was over, but that hasn’t happened. McAfee returned for a one-off at the Royal Rumble in January and made a surprise appearance at WWE WrestleMania 39 to square off for a short match with The Miz.
McAfee took to his Twitter account to announce the news. The two were married on August 1, 2020. Congratulations to the happy family. The WWE star wrote the following in the caption:
“Today’s a day that @MrsMcAfeeShow and I have been dreaming of.. I can’t wait to see where this foot gets to go beautiful girl. WE LOVE YOU. Baby and Momma are both healthy. Momma and I are floating with joy. This is amazing. Thanks for all of the good vibes.”
