Now that Andrade has returned to WWE following a stint in AEW, fans are wondering what the company has planned for him.
Andrade left WWE in March 2021 after finding a lot of success, including a run as the NXT Champion. The release request was granted his release before he made the jump to AEW.
Andrade had been making hints that he wasn’t happy with the promotion and was expected to make his WWE return any time now. Andrade lost to Miro at the AEW World End pay-per-view event last month, marking his final AEW appearance.
Last month, he made his return to the company at the Royal Rumble in Tampa, FL, by competing in the Men’s Royal Rumble match as the #4 entrant. Since then, he has made select appearances on television in backstage segments while weighing out his options.
Pwinsider reports the current plan is for Andrade to be a babyface on the WWE Raw brand. It’s unclear when he will wrestle again or who he will be feuding with.
