Positive news on Bryan Danielson’s injury scare at AEW Collision

AEW taped this Saturday’s Collision episode that will air on TNT on Tuesday night from the Centre Bell in Montreal, QC, CA, which featured the continuation of the Continental Classic tournament and the in-ring return of Bryan Danielson.

The injury

Danielson had been sidelined since October when he suffered a broken orbital bone and has been wearing an eye patch.

At the event, the top AEW star wrestled Andrade El Idolo in a Blue League match, where he was cut above his left eye. This just so happened to be the same eye that he suffered, the broken orbital bone.

After the bout, The Blackpool Combat Club came out to check on him, which caused fans to be concerned that Danielson may have suffered another injury.

Positive news

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that this was all part of an angle that will play out on television, and Danielson is just fine. It was added that AEW was very happy with how the Collision tapings went.
