Positive News on Talent Who Worked Wednesday’s AEW Blood & Guts Match

The third Blood & Guts match happened on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite from the TD Garden in Boston, MA. This match is AEW’s take on WarGames, as a cage surrounds two rings.

The Golden Elite (Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Young Bucks & Hangman Page) beat Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli), Konosuke Takeshita, and PAC.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez noted there were no serious injuries in the bout.

Bryan: “Omega was sliced all the way down his body. He got kind of shredded up a little, and Moxley was all … .a lot, a lot of puncture wounds, a lot of guys having to get stuff pulled out of them in the morning. But, uh, there were no serious injuries. No serious injuries.”

Meltzer: “No serious injuries… unlike the last two years. Yeah. But they’ll be feeling it. Everyone will be feeling it. Yes. Wheeler came in hurt, and Ibushi came in hurt. I thought Adam Page came in hurt, but I don’t know if that’s the case. When he walked in, he just didn’t seem like himself. I heard he was limping out, too, after the show was over. When he went to the back, but, I did not hear that there was any kind of a serious injury involving him, but they’re all gonna be feeling this one cuz that was a lot, a lot of stuff. It was a crazy match. I mean, they delivered more than they advertised. I will say.”
