Matt Riddle could be just hours away from making a return to WWE television.
On a December 5 edition of Raw, Riddle was written off TV when the Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa viciously attacked him. WWE did the angle because Riddle failed a second drug test in 2022. Riddle was expected to go to rehab as he had previously violated WWE’s wellness policy over the summer. Riddle later confirmed that he did go to rehab.
Last Friday, it was reported that there had been a creative pitch for Riddle, and the belief was he would be on the Raw brand when he returned.
Pwinsider Elite reports Riddle is in Los Angeles ahead of tonight’s Raw. As of this writing, it has yet to be confirmed that he will make his return here, but he wasn’t backstage at WrestleMania 39 over the weekend.
WWE typically likes to have surprises on the post-WrestleMania edition of Raw, so this could fit that bill.
WWE is reportedly planning to have Triple H kick off the show and a major main event with a mystery partner for tonight’s Raw.
