WWE fans may be surprised when they watch Saturday’s Crown Jewel 2023 PLE from Saudi Arabia.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre is expected to headline the show. The other top matches on the card are WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Zoey Stark vs. Raquel Rodriguez, WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio vs. Logan Paul, and John Cena vs. Solo Sikoa.
Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest, WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY vs. Bianca Belair will also take place on the main card, while Sami Zayn vs. JD McDonagh will take place on the pre-show.
Pwinsider reports the word going around Kairi Sane, who was added back to the WWE internal talent roster and expected to return imminent, may be returning as soon as Crown Jewel as the expectation among those in Japan they’ve spoken to is that Sane will be Stateside this month.
The report added that Grayson Waller may be added to the show after being pulled from the house show loop this weekend.
