WWE is looking to have a big night in the TV ratings on SmackDown with a loaded lineup that includes Universal Champion Roman Reigns. There are also some names backstage that could be making their official return on tonight’s show.
Fightful Select is reporting that there are several wrestlers at the show tonight who are not advertised. Here is what is advertised for the show:
– Roman Reigns returns
– AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and LA Knight will face off in a Triple Threat Match
– Kevin Owens vs. Santos Escobar in the U.S. Title Tournament Final
– Logan Paul returns
– Michin vs. IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship
– Butch is looking for a partner to face Pretty Deadly. Click here for a spoiler on the partner.
Fightful Select is reporting that AOP (Authors of Pain) members Akam, Rezar, and Paul Ellering could be appearing on SmackDown as soon as tonight. As you will recall, they were shown briefly in a Karrion Kross and Scarlett vignette and it’s expected that they will all form a new faction. There’s been talk about AOP returning for about a year or so and before that, Paul Ellering did an interview where he stated that there were plans to bring him back as their manager.
