There are several former WWE stars who were released in September that are now on the free agent market following their non-compete clauses expiring.
Tenure
The Elias gimmick is no longer following his exit from WWE as he worked for WWE from 2014-2023, where he started out in NXT under the ring name Elias Samson, which he portrayed as a musician.
He later made the jump to the main roster in 2017 with just the Elias name where he put out his own album, WWE: Walk with Elias. He went on hiatus in late 2021 before he returned the following April but as Elias’ younger brother named Ezekiel.
He had cut his hair and shaved his beard. That same year, he was taken off TV again before returning as Elias.
Rebrand
As seen below, Elias has released a new video promo where he declared that Elias is dead while Elijah has come alive Elias put himself into a grave before Elijah lit the grave on fire and watched him burn.
The tombstone for the grave was dated 2017-2023, the timeline of the gimmick. It’s unclear what his next move will be.
