WWE has another major international event planned for the near future.
Sportskeeda’s Riju Dasgupta is reporting that the plan is for WWE to run a show on a “grand scale” in Hyderabad, India and the likely date will be Wednesday, January 18. The roster for the show will reportedly consist of “a mix of superstars, both Indian and international.”
Drew McIntyre has pushed for WWE to do another event in India and he is believed to be a lock to be on the show, especially after he made a recent trip to India and he is part of a “big Bollywood project.”
This would be WWE’s first event in India since the Superstar Spectacle event that took place in 2021.
WWE is planning on more international events in 2013. Saudi Arabia shows are already on the books along with a possible return to the United Kingdom. During the Survivor Series press conference, Triple H talked about the company’s desire to go everywhere.
