Rey Mysterio is off WWE TV after he was scheduled to be part of the World Cup Tournament.
It appears that Mysterio will be off the road for a bit because he is injured. The good news is that it does not appear to be something that will keep him out for an extended period of time.
Ringside News reports that Rey was seen backstage at Friday Night SmackDown and he was wearing a walking boot. We don’t know what caused the injury but RSN, via a backstage source, states that it is just a “short term injury.”
The fact that he was able to make it to SmackDown bodes well for him. We send best wishes to Rey for a full and speedy recovery.
