Brian Last’s “The Wrestling News” is reporting that several AEW personnel have been suspended by the company.
Their report states that the suspensions were handed down to the people who were in the room during the incident that involved CM Punk, Ace Steel, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega.
Brian Last tweeted: “The Wrestling News has learned that several AEW personnel who were in the room for the CM Punk / Elite altercation have been suspended. @SuperPodcasts”
Last added the following in a follow-up tweet: “The Wrestling News has learned that several AEW personnel who were in the room for the CM Punk / Elite altercation have been suspended.”
This news essentially means that several of the company’s top stars will not be available this Wednesday for AEW Dynamite. Punk is the World Champion and The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are the Trios Champions.
We’ll post more on this story when more details become available.
