Vince McMahon is back in WWE as Chairman of WWE’s Board of Directors, while Nick Khan is running things as CEO, and Triple H oversees creative. McMahon has made sure to surround himself with the right people.
When he returned to the company, he brought former co-Presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson along with him to the Board.
McMahon’s return to WWE is to help facilitate a potential sale and negotiate upcoming TV rights deals.
RingsideNews reports that McMahon returned to WWE’s Stamford offices this week and didn’t come alone as he brought back Brad Blum, his Chief of Staff, who was released by the company a month and a half ago.
Triple H and Kevin Dunn reportedly told talent during a meeting on Friday before SmackDown that McMahon doesn’t have a say in the creative process as he is solely back to work on the possibility of a sale and the TV deals.
Stephanie McMahon previously told WWE employees that Vince’s return wouldn’t change things and it would be business as usual just days before she resigned as co-CEO and Chairwoman.
