Rhea Ripley has reached another milestone in her successful career with WWE after a strong 2023. It was arguably her strongest year thus far in her career with the company, thanks to her booking as a singles star and alliance with Judgment Day.
The run
She’s been linked with The Judgment Day once Edge and Damian Priest recruited her into the group before Finn Balor kicked out Edge of the group and added Dominik Mysterio. Her career took off in 2023.
A year ago, Ripley won the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, earning the right to challenge for a title of her choosing at WrestleMania 39 and beat Charlotte Flair to win the SmackDown Women’s Title on the first night.
As champion, she defended the title against the likes of Natalya and Zelina Vega. Her most recent title defense at a premium live event was over Zoey Stark at Survivor Series.
Milestone
Her latest title defense was on the January 1, 2024, episode of Raw, when she beat Ivy Nile in a match that went 13 minutes.
Ripley has now held the title for 300 days. She does not have a match booked for Saturday’s Royal Rumble premium live event as she looks to see who will challenge her for the title she holds at WrestleMania 40 later this year.
Congrats to @RheaRipley_WWE, who has now hit 300-days as Women's World Champion in @WWE. pic.twitter.com/VJTwEoEqQy
