Rhea Ripley Reaches Impressive WWE Milestone As Women’s World Champion

Rhea Ripley continued her strong run in WWE as Women’s World Champion this far this year after an impressive 2023, which was her strongest year thus far in her career with the company, thanks to her booking as a singles star and alliance with Judgment Day.

Ripley’s career took off once she was linked with The Judgment Day, when Edge and Damian Priest recruited her into the group before Finn Balor kicked out Edge of the group and added Dominik Mysterio.

Ripley won the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, earning the right to challenge for a title of her choosing at WrestleMania 39, and beat Charlotte Flair to win the SmackDown Women’s Title on the first night. She later defended the title against the likes of Nia Jax, Natalya, Zelina Vega, Zoey Stark, and others.

Ripley has now held the Women’s Title for one year as she won the title on April 1, 2023, exactly one year ago today.

She is just days away from defending the title against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40 this coming weekend.
