Tony Khan delivered on the gift for Sting tonight on AEW Dynamite and that gift turned out to be WWE Hall of Famer “Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Prior to Flair coming out, Sting put over Darby Allin as the greatest tag team partner he’s ever had and he talked about the moments he’s had in Philadelphia over the years.
Flair said he couldn’t pass up the opportunity when he was invited by Tony Khan and he wanted to be along for the ride with Sting until the retirement at Revolution.
The segment was interrupted by Christian Cage with Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus. Cage made some comments about Flair being dead 20 years ago. Cage told Sting and Darby Allin to get a partner for Full Gear because his retirement will come early and it will be more like a funeral. Sting said that the challenge is accepted and he and Darby will have a partner.
