Ric Flair Denies He Was Drunk, Says He Was “Wrong For Getting Upset” At Florida Restaurant

Ric Flair has taken accountability for getting upset during an incident at a Florida restaurant over the weekend that has made headlines.

The WWE Hall of Famer took the recent incident at Piesanos in Florida public after he was asked to leave. In his initial tweet, he explained that he was requested to leave due to a disagreement with the kitchen manager, who he claimed was spending excessive time in the restroom.

Footage of the incident surfaced on TikTok, where Flair can be seen insulting a man and denying any wrongdoing or use of profanity. The staff member noted at one point that he would cut off Flair, implying Flair had been drinking.

Flair addressed the situation in a statement to The Gainsville Sun, where he claimed that a staff member approached him while he was entering the restroom before asking him to ask the individual to leave. According to Flair, the man proceeded to use the stall, but Flair noticed him “texting away” through the cracks. Upon exiting the stall, Flair alleged that a female employee referred to him as a “peeping tom” and a “creep.”

While on The MJ Morning Show on Q105 via TMZ, Flair stated, “It just escalated, and I was wrong for getting mad, but I kind of felt like I was defending my position” before admitting that he was “wrong for losing my temper. When I feel like I’m put in that area where I’m uncomfortable and all of a sudden everything just fell apart, I got upset.”

Flair stated he should have just walked out, but he was caught off guard when someone in the kitchen said he was doing something wrong in the bathroom, and there was only him and the employee.

Flair denied being drunk or buzzed as he claims he only had Michelob Ultras and “probably” two mixed drinks. Flair added that he ordered Piesanos from Uber Eats after the incident.
