On the latest “Oh…You Didn’t Know” podcast, Road Dogg and Casio Kid discussed Dogg’s 1995 run in SMW and the USWA after his walkout from the WWF.
Road Dogg gave his thoughts on Jeff Jarrett:
“I love him more today than I ever have and that’s just a fact. He’s always been good to me, man. You don’t get a lot of people that are good to you your whole life, and that means a lot to me.”
On Jeff Jarrett, Chris Jericho, and Billy Gunn still being so good at their age:
“I’ll tell you what is obvious to me. It is obvious that all three of them are incredibly talented individuals who have recreated themselves time and time again. What Jeff has done is brought back with the Ric Flair Last Match thing, Jeff brought back what being a heel is. People who saw that, and a lot of people did, said, ‘Holy crap. Jeff Jarrett is on another level’, and the truth is, he just showed you what a heel looks like. He doesn’t care if you cheer for him. He’s not going to do a cool spot to make you pop. He’s going to go out there and get heat and that’s what he did. These three guys just continue to show everybody that they’re on a completely separate level and I believe the magic is in recreation. They have all continued to create and recreate themselves and it’s been profitable for all three.”
