Roman Reigns reaches a big milestone as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion

Roman Reigns has been on an unbelievable run over the last few years after reinventing himself as “The Tribal Chief,” where he has held the Universal Championship for a long time and is going on for nearly two years as the WWE Champion.

Success

To win the Universal Championship, Reigns defeated Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt in a triple threat match at the 2020 WWE Payback. Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Universal Championship with the WWE Championship to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion last year at WrestleMania 38.

As Universal Champion, he beat Daniel Bryan, Edge, Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, Cesaro, Finn Balor, John Cena, Goldberg, Sami Zayn, Matt Riddle, and others.

As the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, he’s defended it against people like Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Zayn, Kevin Owens, Lesnar, LA Knight, and more. His most recent title defense was against Knight at Crown Jewel.

The milestone

Reigns will return to WWE television tonight on SmackDown to further his program with Randy Orton. It’s a feud that is believed to be leading to their match at the Royal Rumble next month.

Wrestle Ops pointed out that Reigns has now reached over 1,200 days as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
