Roman Reigns worked a rare house show this past weekend when he headlined the event on Saturday night in Vancouver, BC, Canada, against WWE Raw star AJ Styles.
Typically, when WWE has wrestlers work live events with each other, it’s an indication of possible future plans. It should be noted that there have been no reports regarding this potential feud.
Reigns retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship over Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle. Reigns is not scheduled to work Extreme Rules on October 8th.
The company has already confirmed that Reigns will make his next title defense against Logan Paul on November 5th in Saudi Arabia at the Crown Jewel event.
Reigns is advertised for Survivor Series in November and doesn’t have an opponent lined up just yet for the show that will feature the return of WarGames. In the last several years, WWE has done Raw vs. SmackDown matches at Survivor Series, so this may be when WWE may book a match between Styles and Reigns, or it could be just a television feud.
