Rousey has made it very clear in various ways that she’s not looking to make a return to WWE after two separate runs with the company. The former WWE star has put Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and Bruce Prichard on blast in interviews leading up to the release of her book.

Speaking with Rick Ucchino of Cageside Seats, Rousey discussed her frustration with the second run that she had with WWE before departing last year. Before leaving, Rousey had a long meeting with Triple H where she talked about her frustrations.

Meeting

“I had a long sit down with Triple H and I was like, ‘I can’t be associated with mediocrity.’ That’s what they seemed to be happy with at the time. I hope that is different now, but I can’t say… that I’ve ever experienced it any other way,” Rousey said.

Rosey did praise Triple H for being great towards the women and believing in them. She said he was the whole reason she was there because he believed in her. She added that she wishes her entire run had been under Triple H’s creative leadership, not just a few months.
